Donald Trump is finally being held accountable 4 his criminal + immoral acts and he whines about it

UPDATE: Tuesday, Jan 30, 2024 · 3:09:33 PM +00:00·Dem

For some time, I was an apologist for Attorney General Merrick Garland. However, after much thought, I simply could not get there anymore. Attorney General Garland appointed a special prosecutor in the Spring of 2023. It seems very difficult to avoid the conclusion that he did this to evade any potential appearance of a conflict of interest claim. It seems close to impossible to avoid the conclusion that prior to this that he was not going to prosecute Donald Trump. If he had any thoughts of prosecuting Donald Trump, then he would have appointed Jack Smith special prosecutor at that time and not at the late date that he did. Moreover, he was not allowing anybody else like Jack Smith to have the opportunity to investigate Donald Trump’s actions leading to the insurrection on January 6th and his other methods of attempting a coup and possibly prosecute him for the same. If he wanted somebody else (meaning not himself) to consider prosecuting Donald Trump, then he would have appointed Jack Smith earlier.  Therefore, Attorney General Merrick Garland prevented anybody else from even considering prosecuting Donald Trump.

Furthermore, let’s suppose that Attorney General Garland himself was considering whether or not Donald Trump should be prosecuted. If that is the case and that’s a big if, then he was not considering it seriously enough to allow it to have a chance at becoming a reality. Since he essentially recused himself by appointing a special prosecutor, if he thought that there was a legitimate chance of there being a legitimate reason that Donald Trump should be prosecuted, then he would have recused himself whenever he came to that belief.  It seems overwhelmingly probable that whenever he felt that it should be seriously considered whether or not Donald Trump should be prosecuted that he would have recused himself at that time.

Thus, until the Spring of 2023, Attorney General Merrick Garland never was seriously considering the idea that it would be reasonable to prosecute Donald Trump

I don’t see how anybody can reasonably disagree with the conclusion and the reasoning behind it.

And that’s too much for me. It’s difficult for me to agree that any other position besides Donald Trump should be prosecuted for attempting a coup is reasonable. But that the idea that Donald Trump should be prosecuted for attempting a coup should never even be seriously entertained seems absolutely indefensible to me. I disagree vociferously with anybody who thinks that Donald Trump should not be prosecuted for attempting a coup. But the idea that his prosecution should never even be seriously entertained

No. I’m out at that point. I can’t. I just can’t. Done.

This diary is about cause and effect. Donald Trump caused the effects that he is whining about. This diary documents in a succinct way how Donald Trump caused the logical and legal consequences that he is whining about

.

Donald Trump whined, “Absolutely ridiculous! I fully disagree with both verdicts, and will be appealing this whole Biden Directed Witch Hunt focused on me and the Republican Party. Our Legal System is out of control, and being used as a Political Weapon. They have taken away all First Amendment Rights. THIS IS NOT AMERICA!”

.

The following is more or less in chronological order:

.

Donald Trump raped E Jean Carroll.

.

He had sex with a porn actress while married to his third wife. Because he was worried that this information might come out, Donald Trump ordered his fixer, his attorney, Michael Cohen, to pay Stormy “Daniels” Clifford $130,000 three weeks prior to the 2016 presidential election. Because this was designed to influence the election in a manner favorable to a major political party’s candidate, it was clear that this was a campaign contribution. Yet, at the time, only $3,000 per person per candidate for the primary and only $3,000 per person per candidate for the general election is allowed to be contributed to a campaign. Michael Cohen was prosecuted for a variety of crimes. One of the crimes was this campaign contribution that exceeded the legal limit allowed by law by more than a factor of 40. Michael Cohen, despite not being the candidate and not being the primary person to benefit from this contribution, was prosecuted for this crime. He admitted that it was a crime, his attorney admitted it was a crime, the Southern District of New York prosecutors agreed that it was a crime, the judge overseeing the trial agreed that it was a crime, and the general counsel of the Federal Election Commission agreed that it was a crime.

.

Donald Trump sees COVID in California and New York and since these two states were won by his opponent, he decides to ignore it on the advice of Jared Kushner. He lies about COVID and says that it is just a hoax and that it will magically go away. He refuses to test widely because of his narcissism and his extreme present hedonism. Even though it would help Americans, it might make him temporarily a little less popular if the case numbers rise. So because of his narcissism and his extreme present hedonism, he refuses to test. Without testing, you cannot do contact tracing which South Korea used, and, as a result, did so much better handling the pandemic. And it’s not based upon the population. I am talking about per capita. The United States which is supposed to be the leader in science and innovation and has most of the best universities in the world has four percent of the world’s population, but had twenty five percent of the world’s COVID cases and twenty five percent of the world’s COVID deaths.

.

He refused to get involved and try to lead America through it even though as the person in the most powerful elected political office in the country it was absolutely his responsibility to do so. He did not promote social distancing. He did not implement the travel ban early enough to create time to create an effective plan. He said that he would not wear a mask because it was only a recommendation by the CDC as if the CDC were going to enforce it at gunpoint.

.

He discouraged social distancing and wearing a mask in the White House. So, he catches it, gets a fever of 103, has to be flown to Walter Reed, and is only saved because he has the best medical personnel in the world treating him.

.

Because he refused to try to manage and minimize the harm it did to the American people, it got out of control early, forcing the economy to be shut down.

.

Because he refused to take responsibility to lead and navigate the country through it and instead the crisis became much worse here than it had to be, he lost the election.

.

New York state chose to allow victims of sexual abuse to sue those who sexually assaulted them even when that assault took place decades ago because our misogynistic culture has made it so difficult for the victim to get justice.

.

Because his ego could not take losing an election, each time prior to election day he would say that the only way that he could lose is if the election was rigged and he then he organized an attempt to overthrow a free and fair election

.

Because he could not accept and admit that the voters had chosen Joe Biden to be president instead of giving him a second term, Donald Trump attempted to pressure republican Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to illegally alter the results by illegally threatening him. Because of his record of acting like an immoral mob boss, Secretary of State Raffensperger recorded Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn the results of the election through attempting to illegally coerce and threaten him.

.

Because invited an unruly mob that assaulted the Capitol in order to intimidate former Vice President Mike Pence and members of Congress, the January Sixth Committee was formed. Attorney General Merrick Garland couldn’t find his testicles with his hands and a flashlight. However, the evidence that the committee put forth was so compelling and overwhelming, even Attorney General Merrick Garland felt forced to start an investigation. He wisely chose to select Jack Smith to be special prosecutor.

.

Because Donald Trump was the principal, because he was the candidate, and, therefore, the primary person to benefit from the illegal campaign contribution, he was indicted by a grand jury.

.

Because Special Prosecutor accumulated evidence that proved that Donald Trump attempted a coup via various methods including the attempt to obstruct an official proceeding by sending the violent mob to assault the Capitol and threaten former Vice President Mike Pence and members of Congress to pressure them to alter the results of the election, a grand jury indicted Donald Trump for his attempted coup.

.

When Donald Trump left the White House, he was told multiple times that he needed to return all classified documents to NARA. Shortly after he left office, NARA requested that he return all the classified documents that he took. After six months of continually pleading with Donald Trump to return all the classified documents he willfully retained, NARA informed Donald Trump that the matter would be turned over to the Department of Justice. Donald Trump continued to lie and falsely deny that he had classified documents and to move and hide them from government investigators and even his own attorneys over the course of a year. He would not comply with the subpoena. Because despite being given a year and a half to return the classified documents he refused to do so, he was indicted by a grand jury.

.

Because of Donald Trump’s attempt to illegally coerce Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to alter the results of the election was recorded and because Donald Trump illegally attempted to overturn the results of the free and fair election of 2020, Donald Trump was indicted by a grand jury.

Because Donald Trump sexually assaulted E Jean Carroll, she as a result of the opportunity New York allowed, successfully sued Donald Trump for sexually assaulting her. Because Donald Trump chose to defame E Jean Carroll after she successfully sued him for sexual assault, she successfully sued him for defamation. Because Donald Trump chose to defame E Jean Carroll again, she successfully sued him for $83 million.

.

Donald Trump is whining about receiving the logical and legal consequences of his own criminal and immoral actions. And the political party of personal responsibility and of snowflakes is down with his whining.
